Hello! I’m Carlos Lao, a Production Coordinator and Designer for Marvel Entertainment, with a love for all things Art & Design. My past experience includes being the Assistant Art Director for Pressman Toy, where I helped bring fun games for all ages to life. Now I’m thrilled to be part of the Marvel Comics team, where I get to bring my passion for design and storytelling to every project in new and exciting ways.

As a Production Coordinator and Designer at Marvel Comics, I’m responsible for creating eye-catching cover designs, developing interior book designs and layouts, and collaborating with editors to help bring the Marvel universe to life on the page. It’s a dream come true to be part of such an iconic and beloved brand, and I’m constantly inspired by the rich history and diverse characters of the Marvel universe.

Even though my role is primarily focused on design, I am also an Illustrator and have experience working in a range of styles and mediums. I have integrated illustrations in some of my work for Marvel, in edition to doing illustrations for game packaging and commissions.
